This is a classic space horror, that makes you feel like you are watching the cousin of Alien, which I personally do not have a problem with. The film takes place on the international space station, where a scientific team are waiting on a soil sample from a Mars mission to return to Earth. So, with a little drama, they retrieve the sample and discover an microscopic lifeform. After a few weeks of studying the sample things spiral out of control, and the crap hits the fan.
The acting, was solid for what it was and the special effects were done well. The plot is nothing spectacular, and it wasn’t anything you haven’t seen before, especially if you are into this type of space horror genre. With that being said Life is a decent film, but I think it will only attract horror fans, and those who are into this type of sci-fi. All in all I will give it a 7 out of 10.

I’m a fan of the genre but, for some unknown reason, I feel this will be a Redbox night for me. I am a huge Ryan Reynolds fan and love (almost) anything sci-fi but the reviews and trailers I have seen having me hitting the “meh” meter. Thank you NIck for giving more insight; you guys are great!
