Mass Effect Andromeda

Hey everybody this is Take Too’s official Sci-fi geek here, Nick, and I am here to get your geek boner up and going. Yes roughly one month from today mankind leaves the milky way on a quest to find a new home for humanity some where in the galaxy of Andromeda. The little information that BioWare (the makers of this game franchise) has released about the game is that it has nothing to do with the original Mass Effect Trilogy. The only connection is that the Andromeda Initiative left the milky way sometime between Mass Effect 2-3.

I am incredibly pumped for this game, and I have been patiently waiting for it’s release ever since it was announced back in 2015. There are only a handful of games that get me excited these days, and even fewer that I find myself reading and talking about. The Mass Effect series has been one of them. The story telling so far, for this game has been unbelievable and incredibly well done.  I know there are people who will say that it’s just a video game, and how good can it be. Well I am here to tell you that if you like good science fiction, with personable characters and a in-depth storyline, mass effect ranks up with any good sci-fi book and/or movie released in the last 20 years. Going beyond the story telling, the action and the game mechanics will make you feel like you are really there. Everything that I have read so far, and  every clip of video gameplay footage that I have watched, leads me to believe that BioWare has maintained the same level of quality that it did in the previous trilogy and then some.  So if you like video games, especially of the science fiction variety, then March 21st, 2017 join me and take part in the  Andromeda Initiative.
