Hey good morning everybody this is Nick here from Take Too podcast, I just want to share some game of thrones news with everyone. First order of business is that there is an article I found floating around on the web from  GameNGuide. This article was posted November 13th and it was reporting that there is is some funding problems going with HBO pertaining to season 8 of Game of Thrones and that Netflix may be trying to buy out some portion of the franchise. The article also stated that George Martin will be put in charge of production. This story is similar to a story that was going around last summer, that was debunked as a hoax, but sometimes strange things happen in TV Land.

Also via GameSpot, HBO is in talks with George Martin about a Game of Thrones prequel which completely contradicts the story that there is funding problems with the series. I can imagine if there were funding problems, HBO would not be shopping around the idea of another Game of Thrones universe spin-off show.
